VINTAGE
Carved, black plastic horse-head brooch, 1940s/50s: This big 2-1/2 inches tall horse-head looks just like Bakelite, but we are not getting the "Bakelite smell" when we test it, so we will assume it is some other form of vintage plastic. It is in perfect condition with a red stone eye and a beautiful sheen. $65.

VINTAGE
Pig earrings, 1986: Unused, old stock (never worn) still on the original card and produced by Tigre Lis (A line we carried in our Phoenix store back in the 1980s). Handmade earrings are made of clay and the card is dated with a printed signature of artist Karen Justin. Each earring measures 1-7/8 inch tall. $15.

Elephant pendant, 1950s/60s: Big elephant head made of clay with metal ears, tusks and eyes. Measures 4-1/2 inches deep and comes complete with the original chain. Mint condition. Makes quite a statement. $45.

Rhinestone Toucan brooch, 1960s: Metal body in gold wash with rhinestone clusters on breast and around eyes. Red stone in middle of each eye. Mint condition and like new. $25.

Bird earrings, 1930s: 3-D relief of birds in tree produced in vintage plastic . Each earring measures 3 inches deep and they are clip-on style. The branches are hand-painted with a darker green paint that matches green button at top. Just one earring is shown. $20.

Flamingo bola tie #1, 1980s: Purchased new in the mid 1980s, this bola has a ceramic flamingo head that slides on the black strings, which are finished with silver tips. Still like new. $12.
